I started making Japanese food at a very young age, as a result of my Mother adopting my Japanese sister, Dayna when we were both ten. I was taught how to make a variety of Japanese dishes and, of course, Sushi! Sushi has come a long way in America since I was a child. What we know as rolls aren't such a big deal in Japanese culture. In this case I decided that I wanted to learn more Americanized Sushi, so I started working as a Sushi Chef at various different restaurants and have studied and been trained by over 30 Sushi Chefs in "American Sushi"
